Bigger inventory in small cars but higher discounts unlikely; expect strong festive season: Shashank Srivastava, Maruti Suzuki

“This year it is expected that annual sales volume of the industry will be about 41 lakh and one can expect sales of 10 lakh units in the festive season. The beginning has been good and we are hoping that this trend of strong demand will continue going forward. As for the model, we are seeing a lot of traction on the SUV and MPV front.”
