India or Bharat? This is what Article 1 of the Indian Constitution says
The Indian Constitution uses both ‘India’ and ‘Bharat’ in its text. If the country’s name is changed to Bharat, it would impact Article 1 of the Constitution, which establishes the Union of India. The Drafting Committee was divided on whether to use Bharat or India, so they decided to include both terms.
