Alok Kumar, the international working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has warned that if the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is not removed as a constituent of India, it will be assumed that Tamil Nadu minister Udhaynidhi Stalin’s controversial remarks on Sanatana Dharma have the backing of the entire opposition bloc. Udhaynidhi had sparked controversy by stating that Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated. Kumar criticized the comment, stating that it was an attempt to create division in society for political gain.
