“First step towards changing Constitution”: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary amid ‘India vs Bharat’ row
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary criticized the government for using the term ‘Republic of Bharat’ instead of India on an official invitation to G20 leaders. Chowdhary accused the BJP of being scared of the word ‘India’ and wanting to change the Constitution. He suggested that if the BJP wants to change everything related to ‘outsiders’, they should also change the word ‘Hindu’ as it was given by foreigners.
