The Election Commission of India is prepared to act in accordance with constitutional provisions and the Representative of the People (RP) Act, said Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar. Kumar stated that the ECI is required to hold elections within a specific time frame as per legal provisions. He also mentioned that e-voting is being discussed but will take time to evolve due to concerns about hacking and trust issues.
