West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has invited Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to stage any protest she wishes to join inside the Raj Bhavan. This invitation comes after Banerjee threatened to stage a sit-in outside the Raj Bhavan to protest against the governor’s actions. The governor recently appointed interim vice-chancellors for eight universities, a move criticized by Banerjee as interference.
