Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga has stated that Mizoram has become an island of peace, offering relief and shelter to those who have fled from Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Manipur. He highlighted the support provided by the Mizo society to the refugees. The former militant leader also expressed his gratitude for the peaceful living conditions he experienced when he fled to Bangladesh during the conflict.
