Puthuppally Bypolls: This is the 13th victory of my ‘father’, says Chandy Oommen
Chandy Oommen, the Congress leader, won the Puthuppally by-election and attributed his victory to his late father Oommen Chandy. Chandy Oommen's margin of victory is 36,454 votes, surpassing his father's highest victory margin in 2011. He expressed gratitude to the people of Puthuppally and promised to prioritize the welfare of his constituents.
