Non-disclosure of cases in poll affidavit: Nagpur court acquits Devendra Fadnavis
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been acquitted by a local court in a case where he was accused of not disclosing criminal cases against him in his poll affidavit. The court held Fadnavis not guilty, stating that there was an inadvertent mistake in his affidavit. Fadnavis had admitted to the mistake and stated that there was no intention to conceal information. He also claimed to have mentioned more severe cases in his election affidavit.
