The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has denied media reports that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was denied approval for his helicopter flight. The MHA clarified that all four requests made by Gehlot for flight permissions were approved. The MHA also stated that no request from the Chief Minister had been denied, but private chartered flights require specific approval from the ministry. The denial comes amidst the ongoing political battle between Gehlot’s Congress party and the opposition BJP in the run-up to the state Assembly elections.
