Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, criticized the INDIA bloc leaders, accusing them of being power-hungry and not working for the betterment of the country. Adhikari claimed that the BJP is the only party that truly works for the people. He also predicted that the INDIA bloc would collapse due to internal contradictions.
