According to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, the DMK administration has recovered temple properties worth Rs 5,000 crore during the last two years. According to Stalin, the dedication of the Kasi Viswanathar temple in West Mambalam on September 10 marked the 1,000th temple consecration ceremony to take place during the DMK government.
