Maratha quota activist Jarange firm on continuing fast, insists on govt granting reservation to his community
Manoj Jarange, a Maratha quota activist, has been on an indefinite hunger strike since August 29, demanding reservation in jobs and education for the Maratha community in Maharashtra. Despite an all-party meeting held by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and requests from various leaders to withdraw his fast, Jarange has vowed to continue until the government issues an order for reservation.
