The BJP criticized the Congress for boycotting 14 broadcast media anchors, stating that boycotting institutions like the media will not benefit the opposition INDIA bloc. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra claimed that the opposition alliance has attacked various institutions in India, including the Election Commission and the courts.
