The Congress party has criticized the Indian government for the implementation of the ‘One Rank One Pension’ (OROP) policy, stating that it has led to “large scale anomalies.” The party’s Ex-Servicemen Department chief, Col (retd) Rohit Chaudhry, claimed that the OROP scheme has not been implemented as intended by the previous government and that the current form of OROP is not the actual concept envisioned.
