Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal criticized the government for its delay in introducing the Women’s Reservation Bill, suggesting that the reason for the delay may be the upcoming 2024 general elections. Minister of State Prahlad Singh Patel had earlier announced on social media that the Cabinet had approved the bill, but later deleted the post.
