Women’s reservation bill: Mandal parties largely on board but demand quota within quota
Various Mandal parties from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand have questioned the government's intention of implementing women's reservation in general and assembly elections. While these parties have decided to support the bill, they demand the inclusion of OBC reservation within the women's reservation.
