Congress leader and MP Gaurav Gogoi criticized Canadian politics for taking a bizarre turn in recent years. He mentioned that pandering to local voters can harm Canada’s strategic interests on the global stage. Gogoi’s comments came in response to a social media post by Jagmeet Singh, Leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party. In addition, Canada’s opposition leader Pierre Poilievre called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to provide all the facts regarding his allegations against India in order to make judgments.
