Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded the immediate implementation of the women’s reservation bill, expressing regret that it did not include reservations for Other Backward Classes (OBCs). He also called for a caste census to be conducted and for the findings to be made public. Gandhi accused the government of using the bill as a distraction from the demand for a caste census.
