Alloy Wheel Capacity Expansion: Focus on Plant Automation to minimize lead time and enhance existing capacities. Help in achieving higher ROI. New machines are being installed enhance Alloy Wheel Capacity Expansion from 3.24 Million to 4.8 Million by FY24 end. Installed advanced machinery to produce Flow Formed Alloy Wheels which involves application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel while spinning and after it has been cast. This process stretches and compresses the aluminium which makes the final product lighter, stronger, increased tensile strength and elongation and great shock resistance.

Product Diversification: New Machine Line producing Aluminium Steering Knuckles with production of 3 lakh units per annum (one car needs four knuckles). The company aims to install 5-6 more machines by FY26, demand for which is backed by orders from M&M and KOI from Tata Motors. Require an additional capex of Rs. 200 cr by FY26. The steering knuckle is one of the components that make up the automotive steering system. It contains wheel hubs and attaches to the suspension and steering components of a vehicle to transfer the movements of a steering wheel to the front and rear wheels. Due to recent tendency of OEMs towards light weighting EV vehicle, more cars will be supplied with aluminium vehicles.

Outlook: Double exports by FY25. Supply of Alloy Wheels to Maruti is expected to begin in Q4FY24. Product testing for motors and controllers is underway.
