The women of the country are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on the issue of the bill and they are celebrating its passage in Parliament, the Union minister of state for housing and urban affairs said. He said the legislation will come into force in 2029 after the census and delimitation exercises are completed.
