Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has requested details of the expenditure on a helicopter and a fixed-wing aircraft by the Bhagwant Mann government. Sidhu accused the government of spending public money on “luxury sorties” for AAP campaigns in other states. He has written to the Punjab Civil Aviation Department under the Right to Information Act, seeking information on the number of occasions a private jet was hired, its purpose, and the total bill of all flights and hiring of aircraft.
