AAP leader Malvinder Singh Kang has denied allegations of political vendetta against MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who was arrested by the Punjab Police in connection with a 2015 drugs case. Kang claimed that the arrest was made based on new facts discovered by a special investigation team (SIT). He stated that the government has zero tolerance for drugs and anyone involved in drug trafficking will not be spared. Kang also mentioned that Khaira had been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case related to the drug matter.
