Ghulam Nabi Azad, a member of the committee exploring the feasibility of simultaneous elections in India, has stated that there is no urgency in implementing the ‘one nation, one election’ proposal. He emphasized that consultations with all political parties are necessary before a decision is made. Azad also praised the passing of the Women’s Reservation Bill, stating that it should have been implemented earlier.
