Ashwin Patni on making investors understand market risk and the tools to fight it

A survey conducted by Axis Mutual Fund reveals that 78% of mutual fund investors do not understand market risks, despite the disclaimer stating the same. The survey also found that the majority of investors are not aware of the risk assessment tools available to them. However, close to 90% of investors recognized the importance of personal risk appetite in investment decisions. The survey highlights the need for investors to have a better understanding of risk and utilize the available tools for informed decision-making.
