PM’s remarks over BRS’ wish to join NDA douses rumours of understanding between BRS, BJP: Javadekar
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement that he rejected Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's request to join the NDA in 2020 has dispelled rumors of an understanding between BJP and BRS, according to senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar. Javadekar emphasized that BRS and Congress are aligned, pointing to their previous alliance and Congress MLAs switching to BRS in 2019. He also accused CM Chandrasekhar Rao and BRS of not adhering to protocol during PM Modi's visits. Javadekar stated that the BJP would defeat the ruling party in the upcoming Telangana assembly elections.
