NCP leader Mohammed Faizal P P has been disqualified as a member of the Lok Sabha after the Kerala High Court rejected his plea to suspend his conviction in an attempted murder case. This is the second time he has been disqualified, with his previous disqualification being revoked earlier this year. The Supreme Court has set aside the Kerala High Court’s decision, stating that it was erroneous. As a result, the Lok Sabha now has five vacancies.
