The Supreme Court has questioned why the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which allegedly benefitted from the Delhi Excise Policy ‘scam’, has not been made an accused in the money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has claimed that the AAP used Rs 100 crore received as kickbacks for its campaign in the 2022 Goa assembly elections. The court asked the ED to explain why the political party has not been made an accused in the case. The hearing on the bail pleas of former deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia will continue on Thursday.
