Not even single drop of additional water to be shared with any state: Punjab CM on SYL issue

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has stated that no additional water will be shared with any other state at any cost. The state cabinet has also approved Gurminder Singh for the advocate general’s post. The meeting discussed the Sutlej-Yamuna-Link (SYL) canal issue. This comes after the Supreme Court directed the Centre to survey the land allocated for the canal’s construction. Punjab’s political parties have stated that they have no additional water to share, while Haryana’s parties have welcomed the court’s directions.
