The Election Commission of India has instructed poll observers to be visible, accessible, neutral, and ethical in their functioning ahead of the assembly elections in five states. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar emphasized the need for a level-playing field and purity of elections, while Election Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey stressed the importance of fairness and transparency.
