“Caste census is important for development of socially oppressed sections”: Congress MP Manickam Tagore

Congress MP Manickam Tagore has expressed support for Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s statement on conducting a caste census in Chhattisgarh. Tagore believes that a caste census is crucial for the development of socially oppressed sections of society. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also echoed the sentiment, stating that caste-based surveys should be conducted in every state to inform policy-making.
