Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has pledged that the party’s government in Karnataka will not let the culprits responsible for the fire in a firecracker shop go unpunished. He also expressed his condolences to the families of the 14 people who lost their lives in the tragedy. The government will take all necessary safety measures to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future. The death toll in the incident has reached 14, with two more people dying while undergoing treatment.
