AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan’s plea challenging the Delhi Police’s decision to label him a “bad character” will be heard by the Supreme Court on Monday. Khan had previously filed a petition against the police’s decision, which was dismissed by the Delhi High Court. The court, however, allowed Khan to make a representation to have the label removed. The Delhi Police argued that due process was followed and the decision was made based on the available evidence. The police had declared Khan a bad character based on 18 FIRs registered against him, including charges of murder and attempted murder.
