Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described the upcoming assembly elections in the state as a battle of ideologies and has appealed to the people to vote in large numbers. Chouhan’s appeal comes amidst perceived anti-incumbency and voter fatigue in the state. Another BJP leader, Jyotiraditya Scindia, is confident that the BJP will emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly polls in five states, including Madhya Pradesh. The Congress is focusing on promises of a caste survey, while the BJP is highlighting achievements such as the passage of the women’s reservation bill.
