Ajit Pawar, who heads the rebel faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has described himself as the national president of the party and defended his decision to join the Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra. He stated that the government is committed to the economic empowerment of all sections of society and that the NCP will work towards achieving this goal.
