Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has warned that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will lock the offices of the Electricity Supply Companies (ESCOM) and hold protests if the state government does not ensure a continuous seven-hour power supply in three phases to farmers. Bommai criticized the current Congress government for not releasing grants to the Energy Department, resulting in a lack of power supply to farmers.
