He believes that conducting such a census will ensure that all castes receive their rights and respect. Yadav also emphasized that having knowledge of population within various caste groups fosters self-confidence and social consciousness, leading to unity and progress. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has also endorsed the caste census, promising to conduct these surveys in Congress ruled states.
