BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized the Chhattisgarh state government, saying it will meet the same fate as the previous Ajit Jogi dispensation. Prasad also took a swipe at Congress over its demand for a caste census, suggesting that Rahul Gandhi should learn from his grandmother, Indira Gandhi, who advocated rising above caste lines. Prasad accused the Congress government of corruption, comparing it to the “gauthan scam” in Chhattisgarh and the fodder scam in Bihar. He also questioned the Congress’ commitment to “raj dharma” and accused the party of not taking action on religious conversion.
