The Karnataka unit president of the Janata Dal (S), C M Ibrahim, has defied the party’s alliance with the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Ibrahim stated that the JD(S) will not join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, hinting at a possible split in the party.
