The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced that it will participate in the upcoming assembly elections in the northeastern state of Mizoram. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal. Rajesh Sharma, the party’s North-East States in-charge, stated that a coordination committee and a North-East cell will be formed for organizational expansion. The AAP believes that it can address the issues of education, healthcare, inflation, and unemployment that the people in the northeast are facing.
