Several lawsuits have been filed against subsidiaries of Dabur International Ltd in the US and Canada, claiming that their hair-relaxer products have caused ovarian and uterine cancer. The lawsuits are part of a multidistrict litigation, with over 5,400 cases. While the company expects defense costs to exceed the materiality threshold soon, it stated that the final claim amount cannot be estimated at this stage.
