The first party helming the regional party chose to disband the entire executive committee, though the target was former union minister CM Ibrahim, who headed the state unit till the entire team of office bearers was shown the door. Thursday’s action was to tie down Ibrahim’s hands from making any more damages to the party and bring about a division among the party MLAs, party sources said.
