SP had decided to field more candidates in MP than initially planned after Congress refused to have an alliance. SP has announced names of 31 candidates. A list of 22 candidates was released on Wednesday and pits SP against Congress in 18 seats so far. According to SP insiders, a list of two dozen candidates is being readied.
