Open to answering questions to CBI & Ethics Committee: Mahua Moitra on ‘Cash for Query’ scandal

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has welcomed the Ethics Committee enquiry into the ‘Cash for Query’ scandal and stated that she is prepared to answer questions from the panel. She also criticized the media circus surrounding the trial and stated that she will only respond to the CBI and Ethics Committee. Earlier, Advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai alleged that attempts were made to coerce him into withdrawing his complaint against Moitra. The allegations against Moitra stem from businessman Darshan Hiranandani, who claimed she pursued notoriety by targeting the Adgroup and shared her Parliament Login credentials with him.
