Sanjay Raut, a leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), has accused Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of protecting the drug mafia in the state. Raut’s comments came after Mumbai police seized mephedrone worth Rs 300 crore. Raut also alleged that MLAs and ministers take “haftas” (protection money) from the drug racket.
