BJP may field Union Minister Kishan Reddy, other Telangana MPs in Assembly Polls
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to field several senior leaders and Members of Parliament (MPs), including Union Minister Kishan Reddy, in the upcoming Telangana assembly elections. The party's central election committee meeting is expected to finalize the first list of around 40 candidates for Telangana. BJP had previously won four Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 general elections but has lost momentum recently, with the Congress emerging as the main challenger to the ruling BRS in Telangana.
