Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar met with Nationalist Congress Party supremo Sharad Pawar, sparking speculation about his outfit joining the opposition bloc INDIA. However, Ambedkar denied the possibility of joining the alliance. The meeting took place at an event titled ‘Unleashing India’s Economic Potential: Dr Ambedkar’s Legacy Lives On’, where both leaders were speakers. Congress leader Ashok Chavan viewed the meeting as a positive development and suggested future communication regarding an alliance between VBA and MVA. NCP working president Supriya Sule also attended the meeting.
