Union Minister Prahlad Patel has criticized the protest staged by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters and workers in Jabalpur over ticket distribution for the Madhya Pradesh assembly polls. Patel called the incident “unfortunate” and “shameful.” The protest began after the party released its fifth list of 92 candidates, which included names of prominent figures such as Usha Thakur and Mahendra Singh Sisodiya.
