The Trinamool Congress has stated that it will wait for the parliamentary ethics committee to conduct an investigation into the allegations against MP Mahua Moitra. Moitra has been accused of accepting favours in exchange for raising questions in Parliament. She has filed a defamation suit against those making the allegations.
