Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly abandoning the state of Manipur during the outbreak of violence. Ramesh questioned why the prime minister has not met with the chief minister and elected MLAs of Manipur and why he has not publicly addressed the situation for more than a few minutes.
